Frontier Co-op organic cut & sifted stinging nettle leaf has a pleasantly herbaceous taste with a slight bitterness and a faint herbaceous aroma. The fresh leaves will irritate the skin but the ‘stinging’ constituents quickly dissipate when the herb is dried. Our organic stinging nettle leaves are picked right before the blossoms bloom to deliver the best leaves possible.
They make tasty and rejuvenating wellness teas, soups, stews, smoothies, and stir-frys. It is also a typical ingredient in DIY skin care products like ointments, shampoos, powders and creams.

Suggested use: To make tea, add 2 teaspoons of organic cut & sifted stinging nettle leaf to 1 cup (~240ml) of boiling water. Then, cover and steep for about 5-10 minutes. Strain and serve at once.
