The dried organic elderberries are stunning dark purple berries grown in their native Bulgaria. They are usually used as wellness tea, complements teas, warming winter syrups and cordials or as an ingredient in culinary dishes.
They have a pleasant and fruity aroma which makes them pair well with other fruits, as their earthy undertones are emphasized when used in jams and jellies. The flavor of elderberry develops most when mixed in foods or drinks. Its also used in sauces, chutneys and in sweets and bakes like ice-cream, pies, compotes, crumbles, etc.

Suggested use: To make tea, add 1 teaspoon of organic whole European elderberries to 1 cup (~240ml) of boiling water. Then, cover and steep for about 3-5 minutes. Strain and serve immediately.
